The EVP Captain’s Choice Slip-On Exhaust is the industry’s first production electric "cut-out" style exhaust for the Can-Am Maverick X3. Proudly handcrafted in the U.S.A. from TIG-welded 304 stainless steel, this system offers the ultimate "best of both worlds" experience: a quiet, near-factory idle when closed, and a raw, high-performance roar from the 3-cylinder Rotax engine when open.

Unlike systems that rely on unreliable wireless key fobs, the Captain’s Choice features a plug-and-play wiring harness and a custom dash-mounted switch for instantaneous, tactile control over your exhaust note.

Performance & Sound Versatility

Variable Sound Profile: With the cut-out valve closed, the exhaust purrs only slightly louder than the OEM unit. With the valve open, the system transitions to a wide-open, race-inspired roar.
Power Gains: Unlocking the cut-out can net up to 6 additional horsepower, depending on your vehicle's tune and boost levels.
Premium Internals: Each muffler is custom-built with a specialized packing system designed to last the entire lifespan of your vehicle.
Integrated Safety: High-flow spark arrestors are included to ensure trail compliance and safety.

Rear Styling & Installation Options

The Captain’s Choice system offers two distinct ways to finish the rear of your Maverick X3:

Keep Rear Valence	OEM-Integrated	Includes a Black Powder-Coated Block-Off Plate with Red, White, and Brushed Aluminum EVP logo accents. (Requires minor trimming of the side valence).
Delete Rear Valence	Open/Race Look	Includes a Signature Aluminum Heat Shield available in Red or Black powder coat (custom colors also possible).

Technical Note: Due to the unique exit path of the Captain’s Choice system, it may not be compatible with certain aftermarket rear bumper installations. Please verify clearance if you have a non-OEM bumper.
