Direct Replacement Spark Plug for Can-Am Maverick R - Set of 3

For high-performance applications like the Maverick R, the standard spark plug is often a weak point. EVP’s Brisk Silver Racing Spark Plugs are a direct-replacement, high-performance upgrade specifically engineered to handle the increased cylinder pressures and heat associated with tuned or turbocharged Rotax engines.
Unlike standard plugs, these feature a non-projected tip design. This geometry allows less heat to be transferred from the combustion process into the spark plug itself, which is a critical safety margin when running aggressive calibrations or alternative fuels like E85 and race gas.
Why Silver?
Silver is the world’s best electrical and thermal conductor. By using a 1.5mm silver wire center electrode, these plugs offer several mechanical advantages:
-
Superior Heat Dissipation: Silver pulls heat away from the tip faster than iridium or platinum, resulting in lower overall plug temperatures and a significantly reduced risk of detonation (knock).
-
Stronger Spark: Better conductivity leads to a more powerful spark, which increases flame front speed. This results in a smoother power delivery and a more stable high-RPM range.
-
Lower Voltage Requirement: These plugs require less energy to fire, which reduces the electrical load and long-term wear on your ignition coils and leads.
Performance Features
-
Anti-Fouling Design: These plugs are engineered to fire properly even if minor fouling occurs—a common failure point for standard OEM plugs in high-performance UTVs.
-
Ready to Install: EVP gaps these plugs in-house specifically for the Maverick R, ensuring they are plug-and-play the moment they arrive.
-
Fuel Versatility: Optimized for a wide range of fuels, including 91/93 pump gas, E85 blends, methanol/alcohol, and high-octane race fuels.
Specifications at a Glance
| Feature | Brisk Silver Racing Plug | Standard OEM Plug |
| Center Electrode | 1.5mm Silver Wire | Iridium or Platinum |
| Tip Style | Non-Projected (Cooler) | Projected (Hotter) |
| Thermal Conductivity | Highest Possible | Moderate |
| Detonation Resistance | High | Standard |
| Maintenance | Pre-Gapped by EVP | Requires Manual Gapping |
Pro Tip: If you are installing these alongside the EVP Engine Access Panel, you can perform a full spark plug swap in a fraction of the time typically required, as you won't need to remove the intercooler or rear firewall.
Technical Note: In high-boost applications, the "non-projected" tip is your best insurance policy against pre-ignition. By keeping the spark origin closer to the cooled head surface, you effectively broaden the "tuning window" for more horsepower.
