The EVP Blow-Off Valve (BOV) Kit for the Can-Am Maverick R is a precision-engineered performance essential designed to protect your turbocharger and enhance throttle response. While the factory Maverick R produces a stout 240 HP, it lacks a dedicated relief valve to vent excess boost pressure when the throttle plate closes.
Without a BOV, pressurized air "back-feeds" into the turbocharger—a phenomenon known as compressor surge. This creates mechanical stress that can lead to premature turbo failure and sluggish performance when you get back on the gas.
