The EVP 3" Racing Downpipe with Bullet Muffler for the Can-Am Maverick R is a high-performance exhaust foundation designed to withstand the extreme temperatures of the Rotax turbocharger while refining the engine's acoustic profile.
Unlike standard aftermarket downpipes that use thin-walled tubing, EVP utilizes heavy-duty Schedule 10 cast stainless steel at the primary elbow to prevent the "blowtorch" effect—a common failure point where high-velocity exhaust gases exit the turbo.
Thermal Engineering & Durability

Cast Stainless Elbow: The critical connection point directly behind the turbo is cast from Schedule 10 stainless steel. This is significantly thicker and more heat-resistant than the 16-gauge low-grade stainless used by competitors, which can crack or burn through under high-boost conditions.

TIG-Welded 304 Stainless: The remainder of the assembly is handcrafted and TIG-welded from thick-walled 304 stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance and structural integrity.

High-Flow 3" Diameter: The increased diameter reduces backpressure immediately at the turbo outlet, resulting in faster spool times and increased overall horsepower.
Integrated "Bullet Muffler" Technology
The Maverick R's 1000cc triple engine can produce harsh, undesirable tones when straight-piped. EVP has integrated a compact "Bullet Muffler" into the downpipe itself:

Installation & Compatibility Notes

Muffler Fitment: Compatible with the OEM muffler, EVP Racing Dynamic Twin Exit Muffler, or any aftermarket muffler that utilizes the stock downpipe mounting location.

Heat Shielding: This downpipe is a direct replacement for the OEM unit but is not compatible with the OEM lower heat shield due to its increased 3" diameter.

Handcrafted Policy: Please note that these are hand-built to order in the USA. Per EVP policy, orders cannot be canceled once placed, and returns incur a 20% restocking fee.
Pro Tip: If you are running an X85 Rising Rate or P47-400 Turbo tune, this downpipe is an essential "support" upgrade. The increased exhaust volume of those high-power setups makes the durability of the Schedule 10 cast elbow a mechanical necessity to avoid mid-race exhaust failures.
