The EVP Shocker Side Dump Downpipe is the ultimate "loud and proud" exhaust upgrade for the Can-Am Maverick R. It features an electronically controlled cutout valve that allows you to bypass the rear muffler entirely at the flick of a switch, transforming your vehicle from a refined trail machine into a wide-open race car.

Hand-built in the USA, this 3" downpipe is engineered to handle extreme heat while providing a significant performance boost of 8–10 HP over the factory setup.

The "Shocker" Side Dump Valve

The standout feature of this system is the integrated "side dump" cutout, which allows for maximum exhaust flow and a visceral engine note:

  • Valve Closed: Exhaust gases route through the integrated "Bullet Muffler" and out through your rear exhaust (OEM or aftermarket), maintaining a manageable sound level.

  • Valve Open: Exhaust is dumped directly out the side for maximum performance and an aggressive, sporty sound.

  • Debris Protection: Features a welded-on stainless steel screen to prevent rocks and trail debris from entering the valve assembly.

EVP has tuned the acoustics to ensure that even with the valve open, the 1000cc triple maintains a "supercar" growl rather than a raspy, unrefined drone.

Extreme Durability: The "Blowtorch" Solution

The Maverick R produces incredibly high exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs) at the turbo exit. To combat this, EVP uses a specialized construction:

  • Schedule 10 Cast Stainless Elbow: The primary connection at the turbo is cast stainless, preventing the pipe from being "blowtorched" or cracked—a common failure in standard 16-gauge aftermarket downpipes.

  • 3" Diameter: The larger bore reduces backpressure, allowing the turbo to spool faster and reach peak power more efficiently.
