The QSC REV X RMT (Race/Mud/Trial) is a ground-up redesign of the billet primary clutch, engineered to bridge the gap between specialized racing performance and the brutal durability required for deep mud and utility work.
After a decade of development, QSC focused on three core pillars for the RMT: Durability, Performance, and Serviceability.
1. Engineered for Durability
QSC prioritized the internal wear components to ensure the clutch remains square and functional under massive loads (such as oversized tires or high-horsepower racing).

Massive Spider Rollers: At nearly 3/4" diameter and 1" long, these rollers are built to support the high-leverage shift arms without premature flat-spotting.

7/8" Diameter Buttons: These oversized buttons keep the moveable sheave perfectly aligned with the belt, significantly prolonging the life of the clutch internals.

Reinforced Sheaves: The back sheave is 50% thicker than the previous REV X model, and the moveable sheave features additional bracing to handle the stresses of high-RPM operation.

Redesigned Bearing: The two-way sealed bearing includes a shrouded thrust bushing and steel-supported bushings in the shift arms for maximum longevity.
2. Unmatched Performance
The RMT is designed to provide "mental" acceleration and a massive increase in top-speed capability.

Low-Speed Control: Exceptional part-throttle belt squeeze makes it ideal for crawling over obstacles, loading onto steep truck ramps, or turning massive mud tires.

Top Speed: The shift curve is so aggressive that the top-speed capability often exceeds the speed rating of standard ATV tires.

Acceleration: Engineered for immediate "hit" and unmatched WOT (Wide Open Throttle) performance at low speeds.
3. Industry-First Serviceability
Unlike most billet clutches that require a specialized shop and proprietary tools for maintenance, the REV X RMT is designed to be serviced in a home garage or at camp.

Tool-Less Spider Removal: The spider can be removed without special tools, a first in the billet clutch industry.

Service Tools: QSC offers a "Drive Coupling Removal Tool" specifically to allow for easy replacement or servicing of the two-way bearing.
Belt Compatibility & Tolerances
The RMT was originally designed around the OEM factory belt for a perfect "out of the box" fit, but it is precision-toleranced to accommodate high-performance aftermarket options:

EVO Badass (EX & Race): These wider belts will further increase off-idle belt squeeze and maximize top-end speed.

Gates Redline: Fully compatible for those who prefer the Redline compound.
